Part of Twitter's problem is that a lot of people just don't understand it.  It's probably best known as microblogging with a limit of each "tweet" being a 140 character limit.  I find it interesting in its ability to cover live world events, but it also serves as a great notification system like two weeks ago.

Breaking - Media Borough Council Chooses Not to Appeal Third Street Bridge Lawsuit

After 18 years, it's over!

This Monday, July 28th marked the 30 day deadline Media Borough had to appeal the latest ruling by Judge Proud which found Media borough in contempt of court over Third Street Bridge.  5pm on Monday came and went, which unofficially marked the end of a 18 year dilemma that many in this community were not only following, but were affected by in varying degrees.
